Adding the AI power for recruitment

To begin with, I have to confess I am a huge fan of artificial intelligence (AI). I have not been a technologically-oriented person myself. I have embraced machine learning and aspects of computer intelligence to enhance my efficiency both professionally and personally. However, despite the technology around me, as a recruiter, I find myself doing the same stuff again. For example, I find myself looking for resumes periodically for a particular position that needs to be filled in my organization. Is there a way to not go through the same humungous task of scanning through a zillion resumes that appear with the basic keywords?

A Conscious Recruiter

Dear Conscious Recruiter,

You are not alone in this struggle. It is a prize that most enterprises pay with improved effectiveness. You need a combination of data and intelligence that will enable you to find the right people with a focus on the right indicators.

With every round of recruitment, you receive a lot of data. But you possibly haven’t captured them for future reference and applications.

So, your typical process is something like this: first, you post the company’s requirements, then you source resumes, screen the candidates, and finally, fill the position that you need to. After your requirement is fulfilled, you forget the back-end process. But when a similar requirement arises, you start from scratch.

However, dear AI fan, today, there is a solution to your problem. A technologically-powered company collates all the ‘big data’ of candidates and can be the first point of contact with applicants, building a trail of each interaction the applicants may have had with the company. Call this the ‘holy’ grail of recruiting or simply AI-empowered talent acquisition.

Since you are an AI fan, here is something that might interest you. This will come in handy for your future applications as it is all again about data.
