Tata Technologies to hire 1000 women engineers

Accelerating its efforts to promote gender diversity, Tata Technologies will hire 1000 women engineers.

Through its RAINBOW program, the company is aiming to onboard more women and create support frameworks for them to succeed.

The organization is also focusing on the career advancement of women leaders. The company’s statement quoted by news reports said, “Through the LeaderBridge-WINGS program, a six-month developmental intervention aimed at helping women employees develop their leadership potential further and excel in their careers.”

The focus is also on building a conducive environment and infrastructure for a diverse workforce to thrive, the statement added.

Last year, the organization announced that it planned to hire 1,000 more people in FY2023 than the earlier plan of recruiting 3,000 innovators over 12 months to fulfill the requirements of customers as its business growth accelerated, said news reports.
