Micron Technology Inc. has steadily increased the number of women in its global workforce for the fourth consecutive year.
The ‘We Are Micron’ 2022 Diversity, Equality, And Inclusion Report’ has revealed that women comprise 31% of their global workforce. The breakdown of the data revealed that women constitute 24% of the technical roles and 25% of engineering roles. At least 22% of the patent applications filed by Micron in 2022 named a woman as the inventor.
Reports said, “Micron is committed to supporting women and families by identifying quality, affordable, and accessible childcare solutions for the direct workforce and broader community globally. This includes FY23 investments and partnerships in Malaysia and the United States to provide affordable, world-class childcare facilities and support to Micron employees.”
