A new ad by Burberry featuring a Sikh boy has earned laurels for the fashion brand from all quarters.
New ad shows Sahib, a 4-year-old boy, wearing a black patka (cloth used for wrapping the head by Sikhs) dressed in a Burberry jacket.
In the latest ad for the brand’s children’s collection, Sahib is seen holding a teddy bear.
On its official Instagram handle, Burberry shared an image of the boy. “Prepped for their next adventure: from outerwear to our Burberry Check, find back-to-school designs from the new #BurberryChildren collection,” reads the caption.
The ad is not the first display of inclusive advertising by the brand.
Earlier this year, they were in news for featuring Iona Hay, a model with disabilities, in one of their campaigns.
