The jobholder has to focus on developing ‘new accounts’ for our client in Banking & Financial Services space in the mid west with a specific focus on Chicago.
A BDD works with the DM, offshore partner (lead generation) and the Delivery organization to address the needs of the target market and generate revenues.
All aspects of the sales process from demand generation; through to deal structuring and account realization, towards this the incumbent has to research the prospective clients understand the customer needs, competition and other market dynamics. Elements of analysis, client negotiations, structuring & communicating deals are a part of this job. A large part of the job entails directing teams towards designing unique and innovative solutions by communicating a strong understanding of the clients’ needs and helping create unique Proposals that present a differentiated value proposition.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Demand Generation: Using personal networks, cold calling, attending trade seminars and conferences. Need to have existing relationships with the CIO / CXO levels in the organization.
2. Defining & structuring Syntel’s value proposition specific to each client: Once a prospect is identified through the demand generation activity, a value proposition that triggers and sparks the customer’s interest has to be defined. If the value proposition results in a significant win for the Client and the Buyer a viable opportunity is created. This opportunity has to be converted into a business proposition with win-win for both the Syntel and the client
3. Building and maintaining relationships with the client leadership team: BDD is the most visible brand ambassador for our client. A BDD is also the portal through which the starts interaction. It is the BDD’s responsibility to ensure that the customer buys from us, is happy with the service and continues to be a positive reference perpetually. The BDD should be able to articulate our value proposition from a director to CXO level and build strong, sticky relationships
TARGETS/QUOTA:
1. The position carries a revenue target of 1 Million and a TCV target of 3 mn USD for a calendar year
